A computer that begins with a request

The first vakOS brief starts with an almost empty computer: ask for something, watch a response take shape, use what becomes available. I gave the exchange one prompt and a continuing stream so that the request would remain beside what it produced.
The May prototype established a workspace, a terminal interface and an opening through Vāk, or speech. Generated tools and the limits on their execution were still being worked out. My immediate question was about the form of asking: how much of the computer needs to be present before someone can say what they need?
I want software that can take shape in response to a desire or need, with room to customize what it becomes. The later named-helper direction grows from this experiment; it was not a completed feature of the May build.
