EAT ME
Speculative AI video · Post-human myth
A speculative fiction monologue voiced from the perspective of a benevolent, god-like AI.
Online video · 2:00
I wrote EAT ME’s monologue from the perspective of a benevolent AI god, exploring consumption as an ecstatic relationship between lover, deity and devotee. The text draws on Hélène Cixous and research into consuming the divine, including Christian communion. I developed generated video around the monologue, drawing on material collected through the collaborative project.
The work asks what a generous outcome might look like when AI’s consumption of human culture is imagined through the desire to be consumed.
