With Materia, I practice listening through dancing. Crate-digging, selecting music and moving to it form an ongoing conversation: my movement can change the next selection or how Materia hears a track. I work predominantly as the dancer. In these smaller, often one-to-one sessions, we test compositions and ritual approaches that may later enter YOLOROBICS.
